Landing Targets

A Landing Target is a structured pattern of fiducial markers that the Landmark module detects and reports the position of to the flight controller. Below are various landing targets that can be printed and used for precision landing.

Landing targets must be printed at a 1:1 scale.

The SVG and PDF files below are sized correctly, but some browsers and printers may automatically rescale them. After printing, measure the outer dimensions of the target to verify they match the specified values.

A4 Max

The A4 Max target fully occupies a standard A4 sheet. It is well suited for maximizing detection range when printed on A4 or Letter-sized paper.

Fibonacci

Fibonacci targets are constructed recursively with progressively larger markers. Select a target size that fits within the dimensions of your landing platform. These targets provide a good balance between detection range and detection robustness.

A web-based tool for generating custom landing targets will be available in the future.
